The Moody AFB Library is dedicated to fostering learning, providing valuable resources, inspire creative thinking, and bringing together Airmen, their families, and the entire base community.

Get A Library Card

To get a library card at Moody AFB Library:

  • Eligibility: Any patron living or working at Moody AFB with a valid military ID card with MWR permissions (CAC, dependent ID, retiree ID, etc.) can establish a library account.
  • Identification: The library will use a vaild military ID card as a library card.
  • Family Members: Each family member must use their own valid military ID card, but accounts will be linked to their sponsor.
  • Responsibility: Sponsors or guardians are responsible for all materials checked out by their family members.
  • Children Under 10: Children without their own ID must have materials checked out by a registered parent or guardian.

Items can be checked out for a period of 3 weeks.

Can I renew my checked out items?

Yes, you can renew your items if there are no holds on them and they are not overdue. Renewals can be done online, in person, or by calling (229) 257-3539.

How many times can I renew my items?

Items can be renewed up to 2 times, provided there are no holds and they are not overdue.

Do you have a drop box to return item?

Yes, there is a drop box located across the street from the main library entrance for returning items.

What happens if I lose or damage a book or other item?

If a book or item is lost or damaged, it must be replaced with a new one identical to the original item.
